The Sherwin-Williams Finance internship is designed to provide you with hands-on experience in the Sherwin Business Services (SBS) Global Transactional Systems Team.
The internship features hands on financial systems administration experience, where you’ll develop a basic understanding of business processes: Source-to-Contract, Procure-to-Pay, and Travel Expense while supporting the finance applications associated with each, such as Coupa, Concur and Sirion. You’ll gain meaningful exposure to a disciplined process utilizing Agile and more traditional methodologies that assists with financial process improvement definition, user adoption techniques, and support of internal customers in general Q&A and how to use finance applications.
This role will be a year-round, remote position which requires availability to work a minimum of 15 hours and maximum of 28 hours per week during the school year and maximum of 37.5 hours during the summer, with the ability to work at least one (1) year.
Because this role involves access to confidential financial information, the Company has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and to provide similar protections for its clients and potential investments.
• Serve as a resource and provide troubleshooting and/or issue resolution support to
internal customers.
• Maintain and/or create procedural documentation.
• Conduct testing in the form of project tasks, release updates and bug fixes.
• Complete research, data gathering and analysis.
• Support the usage of Global standardized policies and processes across Finance and
Procurement.
