Title: X-Ray Technician (Radiologic Technologist)
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Location: New York, NY (10019 / 10029)
Shift: Day Shift (Varied 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM) | Monday–Friday | 37.5 hrs/week
Gross Pay Rate: $2,800.00/weekly
Additional Details:
- Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours/week
- Floating: Required between:
- Orthopedics (425 W 59th St)
- Spine Center (787 11th Ave)
- No On-Call Required
- Consistent weekday schedule (no weekends)
Requirements:
- New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T)
- ARRT Certification (Required)
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
- 2 years of recent X-Ray experience REQUIRED
- Experience with X-Ray + EOS imaging systems
- Familiarity with Carestream software & Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures ensuring high-quality imaging
- Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort and safety
- Follow radiation safety protocols for patients and staff
- Operate and maintain radiologic imaging equipment
- Document procedures accurately in EMR systems
- Maintain clean, safe, and compliant work environment
- Monitor inventory and ensure availability of radiology supplies
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams for optimal patient care
