Job Title: Business Systems Analyst III (Workday – Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence)

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst III with strong, hands-on Workday configuration expertise to support, maintain, and enhance Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence solutions in a global environment.
This role partners closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to deliver scalable, efficient solutions that improve system functionality, accuracy, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full lifecycle delivery: planning, requirements, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support
- Serve as a subject matter expert in Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence
- Gather and document business and technical requirements in collaboration with stakeholders
- Perform hands-on configuration within Workday (Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence)
- Analyze business processes and recommend technology solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Partner with technical teams on integrations, extensions, and system enhancements
- Lead and execute system testing, including UAT
- Support production deployments and ongoing system administration
- Troubleshoot issues and provide post-production support
- Act as a liaison between business, IT, and vendors
- Promote collaboration and alignment across cross-functional teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field
- 7+ years of experience with ERP systems (preferably Workday) including requirements gathering, design, configuration, and support
- 5+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience in:
- U.S. Workday Payroll
- Multi-state payroll processing
- EIB creation and processing
- Production support and issue resolution
- Strong understanding of Workday architecture and business process frameworks
- Experience working within SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Workday Absence and Time Tracking
- Knowledge of Workday Payroll for Canada
- Experience with Workday reporting or similar tools
- Background supporting global or multi-national organizations
