The Workday OPAL Product Director / Program Manager will oversee a team of approximately 40 professionals supporting Workday Financial Management and Purchasing modules within a large and complex public sector environment. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, improving business efficiencies, optimizing system capabilities, and ensuring alignment between Workday initiatives and organizational goals.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Workday Financial systems, enterprise application management, public sector operations, and cross-functional leadership. This role requires strong expertise in Workday configuration, integrations, reporting, optimization, and strategic roadmap development, as well as the ability to lead large-scale implementations and continuous improvement initiatives.
The candidate must demonstrate strong communication, stakeholder engagement, project management, and leadership capabilities while serving as the primary liaison between business and technical teams.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field required.
Minimum 10+ years of experience in financial systems management, including: Workday system configuration, System integration, Enterprise application optimization, post-implementation support
