The University of Michigan-Dearborn is seeking an Assistant Women's Soccer Coach. This position will be responsible for assisting with all phases of the program in accordance with NAIA, Conference, and University rules, regulations, and policies. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to coaching, recruiting, evaluating prospective student-athletes, performing public relations, administrative tasks and any other duties assigned by the Head Coach. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Hold consultation meetings with students, staff, and faculty, looking to learn more about campus involvement opportunities and Office of Student Life offerings
Assist with student organization registration and re-registration processes
Maintain student organization records (e.g., budgets, policies, registration, rosters, etc.)
Manage UM-Dearborn's student organization and campus engagement platform.
Assist with the development and facilitation of workshops focused on student organization management, growth, and leadership
Support the implementation of signature events, such as but not limited to the Go Blue Bash and Winter Involvement Fair.
Participate in staff meetings, department meetings, and supervisor one-on-one meetings
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide support to students, staff, and faculty utilizing the Office of Student Life services and resources, and maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism
Maintain administrative processes and tools (e.g., VictorsLink, student organization mail distribution, answering departmental emails)
Market Office of Student Life events and initiatives (e.g., print materials, tabling, classroom visits, etc.)
Maintain confidentiality and discretion when working with the students, staff, and faculty
Support Office of Student Life programming initiatives
