Job Description Sales Associate


·       Assist Merchant Sales/Merchandising Team on all aspects of Sales attainment


·       Communicate with clients and provide product information and address any inquiries.


·       Attend Buyer meetings and take detailed notes capturing important information and relaying to relevant team members.


·       Assist for all sales presentations; pull all samples, prints and fabrics for each presentation, and prepare them on a rack for the showroom.


·       Create comprehensive line sheets that showcase the company’s product offerings and assist clients in making purchasing decisions.


·       Pull pricing -DDP/FOB depending on account- for each item being presented and review with Merchant to ensure margins are maintained.


·       Review the buyer’s assortment and make sure all details—fabrics/print codes, prices are accurate.


·       Upon final negotiation, pass the line sheets to Production team


·       Alert fabric/print team of new strike-off requests needed, new colors to be lab dipped.


·       Recap best sellers weekly with pictures of new items as they arise. Maintain files with weekly recaps to establish best seller history for future planning.


·       Maintain and organize the garment/sample library, ensuring all samples are up to date and readily accessible for anyone to pull at any time.


·       Manage stock inventory weekly and send availability to buyers.


·       Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint to create and present sales reports, line sheets, and other relevant documentation.
