Wire Harness Technician
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday 1st Shift, 7:00am-4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $16.75/hr - $18.00/hr (depending on experience)

POSITION SUMMARY:Assembly Technicians will primarily be responsible for building assemblies ranging from single lead repair parts tointermediate wire harnesses. Technicians will be trained and expected to use small tools and machines to complete
various tasks. These tools and machines are to be utilized to manufacture and produce various products of superiorquality. Work order size and training level will determine how much of, and what parts of a work order the
technician will complete.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:- Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or work instructions to perform required tasks tocomplete a portion of, or entire assembly.
- Maintain work area compliance to all Standards including but not limited to; all required materials are to belabeled and properly stored; each work area used must be cleaned after use; all tools are to be put awaywhen not in use; Work Order packets are to remain with their corresponding jobs with all documentsaccounted for.
- Comply with allstandard building procedures
- Packaging finished products and organizing them for shipments
- Completing checks on equipment and products to ensure quality production
- Actively participate in all required training
- Regular attendance at work
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:Required:- No experience required
- No Degree Required
- Must be able to read and write
- Must be able to do basic math- addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and decimals.
- Understand Metric and US Customary units of measurement
- Must be able to distinguish between colors of wire
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have a positive attitude
Preferred:- Blueprint/Drawing reading
- IPC/WHMA 620 Certified or any other IPC training
- Wire harness manufacturing experience
- Hand crimp experience
- Amp press experience
- Sonic welding experience
- Solder experience

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, colorvision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low tomoderate.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:Work is performed indoors in a clean, well-lit, climate-controlled facility. Duties may require standing or sitting forlong periods.
