  • Provide comprehensive nutrition services, including assessment, care planning, counseling, and follow-up for clinic patients and WIC participants

  • Determine WIC eligibility, prescribe food packages, and coordinate referrals with healthcare and community providers

  • Supervise Nutrition Services staff and manage daily clinic operations to ensure efficient service delivery

  • Lead program administration, including planning, compliance, reporting, staff training, and performance management

  • Oversee WIC program operations, vendor compliance, and nutrition outreach initiatives

  • Serve as Breastfeeding Program Manager, coordinating services, staff, education, and program development

  • Collaborate with health department leadership, community partners, and state agencies to support public health initiatives

  • Assist with budget planning, monitor expenditures, and support overall program effectiveness

  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all policies, regulations, and standards

  • Perform additional duties as assigned and participate in leadership and community engagement activities

Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education- approved Didactic Program in Dietetics; or Dietetic Technician, Registered with the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education with a Bachelor’s degree in any subject area from an accredited four-year college or university; or a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Dietetics, Public Health Nutrition or Community Nutrition from an accredited four-year college or university.

Administering the Class – Candidates should provide documentation of registration status from the Commission on Dietetic Registration, provide university or college transcripts or CADE verification statements.

Criminal records check, drug screen, and references will be required for the successful candidate.
