Our client, Diagnostic Imaging, is seeking a TIG Welder to join their Manufacturing team in Rockford, TN. This role supports diagnostic and repair operations and involves working with iridium materials used to grow crystals for scanners used worldwide.
Job Title: TIG Welder
Location: Rockford, TN
Pay: $24 per hour
Schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Position includes working every weekend with two consecutive weekdays off.
Job Duties: Weld iridium crucibles to required specifications
Inspect, maintain, and repair iridium materials as needed
Clean metals using a media blaster
Operate hand tools and an air hammer
Enter required information into a database
Qualifications: Welding certification preferred
1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or welding environment
Hands-on metalworking experience and familiarity with basic hand tools
Experience working with media blasters
Basic computer skills including Word and Excel
High School Diploma or GED required
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
