Welder

2nd Shift - Welder - $21.00/hr.

Position Information:

• Shift: 2nd
• Pay: 21.00/hr. + 6% Shift Premium ($22.26/hr.)
• Weekly Pay
• Benefits from United Health Care.
• Provide boots on the first day
• $200 boots allowance each year.
• Employees receive 40 hours of PTO after 90 days and 80 hours after one year.
• We maintain a clean environment and provide uniforms, with candidates covering the cost.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. In this role, you will perform MIG welding inside a Job Shop facility. You will be responsible for taking components and welding them to shafts, setting up your own welding machines, and adjusting the gas as needed. You will work with both Mild Steel and Stainless Steel, reading blueprints to build components accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on components and shafts.
• Set up and adjust welding machines and gas feeds.
• Work with Mild Steel and Stainless Steel materials.
• Read blueprints and use a tape measure to measure, cut, and build components.
• Maneuver large or heavy parts manually with crane assistance.
• Inspect welds throughout the process for quality using grinding tools to achieve desired finishes.
• Inspect finished work to ensure it meets predetermined tolerances and standards.
• Assist in other areas or departments as assigned to meet production needs.
• Carry or lift up to 50lbs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Montpelier, OH.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Montpelier,OH.
