Welder's Needed

2nd Shift $21-$22/hr!

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and weld steel materials to construct barges from start to finish.
  • Perform welding tasks in confined spaces, which may involve tight and challenging positions.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a high standard of work quality.
  • Collaborate effectively with the production team to meet project timelines.

Essential Skills

  • Previous welding experience of any kind is required.
  • Ability to pass a weld test, including the 3/4 F weld test, during the interview process.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn are crucial.
  • Strong commitment to attendance, as it is non-negotiable.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux Core, and Buttwelding.
  • Blueprint reading and fabrication skills are highly beneficial.
  • Experience with stainless steel welding is an advantage.
  • Entry-level candidates with a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ashland City, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.30 - $24.12/hr.
