JOB SUMMARY
The Weighmaster is responsible for the accurate weighing of on-highway trucks and internal equipment, ensuring that all outbound loads comply with legal weight limits and customer specifications. Operating from the scale house, this role serves as a critical liaison between the sales, production, and transportation teams.
The ideal candidate possesses a sharp eye for detail, a strong commitment to safety (MSHA compliance), and the ability to maintain professional composure during peak dispatch hours. You are responsible for ensuring that every ton of material leaving the site is accounted for, billed correctly, and transported safely.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
High school diploma, GED, or relevant experience.
Work Experience
1+ years of experience in Mining, Construction, or Manufacturing Environment. Familiarity with aggregate products (crushed stone, sand, gravel) is highly preferred.
Familiarity with scale operations is preferred.

Physical Requirements
You must be able to sit at a computer terminal for extended periods to manage high-volume truck traffic.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Required to bend, stoop, climb, and reach.
You must have good depth perception with or without seeing aid for distances up to 150 feet.
Working Conditions
All duties require outside assignments and require periods of work in all weather conditions, cold, wet, dry and dusty. Must be able to work in areas where noise levels are up to 85 dbs.

The hiring range for this position is $24.90 -$35.00 exclusive of benefits or bonuses (discretionary and non-discretionary). The offered base compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at Martin Marietta we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the compensation for those in similarly situated roles and direct team members.
