Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the digital finishing solutions industry, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Hobart, WI

Pay Range: Based on experience 

Shift: Weekend Shift

What's the Job?

  • Set up CNC machines by loading and adjusting cutting tools, selecting appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials.
  • Operate manual or CNC machines to produce tooling, core holding, and web finishing parts efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Develop CNC programs using G & M code and Fanuc control, and perform necessary program edits.
  • Inspect and measure completed parts with precision measuring instruments to ensure they meet specified tolerances and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, including job setups, tool changes, and inspection results.

What's Needed?

  • 3-5 years of machining experience operating CNC lathes or mills in a job shop environment - Preferred. Willing to Train - no experience necessary
  • Strong knowledge of machining processes, including tool selection, speeds, feeds, and material properties.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting shop orders and blueprints.
  • Understanding of G and M Code, Fanuc controls, and GD&T. - Preferred
  • Ability to accurately use precision measurement tools/instruments to determine dimensions and tolerances - Preferred
