Job Description:
- Develop and maintain web scraping programs and scripts to gather data from various web pages.
- Manage and analyze data sets obtained through web scraping, ensuring accuracy, and quality.
- Test, maintain, and troubleshoot web scraping processes to identify and resolve any issues or errors
- Process, clean, and transform data sets to ensure consistency and usability.
- Collaborate with different teams in the organization to understand data needs and requirements.
- Support and guidance in utilizing and interpreting data for operational and sales purposes.
- Assist in automation projects to streamline data gathering and analysis processes.
- Develop and implement data scraping procedures and best practices.
- Utilize DevOps and Cloud Computing technologies, such as AWS and GCP.
- Perform other duties as assigned related to data operations and analysis.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in data operations, web scraping, or related roles, with min. 1 year in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven experience with web scraping techniques and tools, such as (JavaScript, Python, .NET, etc).
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Knowledge of DevOps and Cloud Computing technologies is a plus.
- Can join immediately.
- Relevant work experience in the field.
- Not currently under contract with any company.
- Responsible and dependable.
- Hard-working and proactive.
- Willing to learn and grow professionally.
