Position Description:
OBXtek is currently looking for a Sr. Web Designer/Graphic Artist/Digital Content Manager to work at the Pentagon for the Army.
The duties will include but not be limited to the following:
- Designs and builds digital assets using images, illustrations, video, audio, and interactive web content with a variety of graphics software applications, techniques, and tools.
- Contributes to the design group’s efforts to enhance the look and feel of the agency‘s online offerings.
- Deliver thoughtful graphic designs for the brand and support rapid design changes when the world's needs change
- Designs the website to support the agency's strategies and goals relative to external communications.
- Assists with conceptualization of web and social media content
- Opportunity to use illustration to tell the story
- Designs and builds web pages using a variety of prototyping techniques and tools.
- Designs and develops user interface features, site animation, and special-effects elements.
- Designs and develops website UX/UI
- Works under general direction of PM, Customer, and Creative Director
Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance highly desirable, although NACI is minimum requirement
- Minimum of five (5) years demonstrated professional experience focused in UI/UX design concepts
- Requires understanding of web-based technologies and thorough knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and/or other design-related applications
- Understanding of web-based technologies and knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript frameworks, and/or other design-related applications
- Experience with Scrum
- Skilled in social media campaign strategy
