We are building an Advisor Experience Platform for a leading wealth management client and are assembling a high-performing POD (small, cross-functional delivery team) to own design, build, and delivery. We are looking for a POD Lead who combines deep Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) domain expertise with hands-on product development instincts and enough technology fluency to lead a cross-functional team credibly.
This is a player-coach role: you will be the domain anchor and the connective tissue between the client's business stakeholders, the product/design team, and engineering — translating advisor needs into a platform that materially improves how advisors serve their clients.
What You'll Do
- Lead the POD as the single point of accountability for delivery — setting direction, removing blockers, and ensuring the team ships value iteratively.
- Own the domain perspective, bringing real-world Asset & Wealth Management experience (advisory workflows, portfolio management, client onboarding, suitability, reporting, regulatory context) to shape the product.
- Partner with the client's business and advisory teams to elicit needs, validate priorities, and act as a trusted advisor on wealth management practices.
- Drive product development — define and groom the backlog, write/refine user stories and acceptance criteria, prioritize the roadmap, and make pragmatic scope trade-offs.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and design to ensure solutions are technically sound, feasible, and aligned to advisor experience goals.
- Communicate with stakeholders at all levels — translating between business and technical audiences and reporting on progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Coach and mentor POD members, fostering a culture of ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.
