Wealth Planner
Overview
We are seeking an experienced, thoughtful Wealth Planner who combines technical expertise with genuine empathy. In this role, you will help individuals and families clarify what matters most, translate complex financial data into clear strategies, and design plans that support both near-term decisions and long-term goals. You are equally comfortable working with sophisticated planning tools as you are building trust through meaningful client conversations.
This position offers the opportunity to partner closely with investment professionals, engage directly with clients, and play a key role in strengthening long-term relationships through comprehensive wealth planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver customized financial and estate planning solutions tailored to each client’s unique objectives and circumstances
- Collaborate with portfolio managers and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities where planning can deepen relationships and enhance retention
- Create, analyze, and present comprehensive plans using industry-standard financial planning software
- Manage an organized planning workflow, including pipeline tracking, documentation, and CRM accuracy
- Engage with clients through video, phone, email, and in-person meetings to provide ongoing planning guidance
- Stay current on industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging planning technologies
- Support and contribute to internal meetings, educational initiatives, and client-facing presentations
- Build long-term client relationships, guiding families through life transitions such as retirement, succession, and wealth transfer
- Provide oversight and mentorship to junior planning staff, when applicable
Qualifications
Education & Credentials
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- CFP® certification required
- Advanced degrees or designations (MBA, JD, CPA, CLU®, ChFC®) preferred
Experience
- 5–12 years of experience in wealth planning, financial planning, or wealth management
- Experience working with financial planning software (e.g., eMoney or similar platforms) preferred

- Primarily office-based with regular computer use
- Ability to attend meetings and events, including occasional off-site travel
- Capable of sitting or standing for extended periods as needed
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds when required
