Water Treatment Technician - 2nd Shift

Our client, an industry leader in food production and water treatment, is seeking a Water Treatment Technician to join their team. As a Water Treatment Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting water and wastewater treatment operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety and compliance, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Water Treatment Technician - 2nd Shift

Location: Fairfield, OH

Pay Range: $24.00 - $34.00 per hour

Shift:  2:30pm - 11:00pm

What's the Job?

• Operate and maintain water and wastewater treatment systems to ensure safe and compliant operations.
• Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, blowers, motors, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, low-voltage equipment, pH meters, and other instrumentation.
• Conduct chemical mixing, dosing, and basic laboratory testing for water quality monitoring.
• Maintain accurate logs and records for regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

What's Needed?

• Experience with water or wastewater treatment system operations.
• Mechanical and maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Basic electrical wiring and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to perform physical work in an industrial setting.
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
