Waste Tracking Coordinator – Henderson, CO

A fully permitted treatment, storage, and recycling facility in Henderson, Colorado is seeking a Waste Tracking Coordinator to support day‑to‑day operations. This facility specializes in solvent recycling and fuels blending and requires strong accuracy, organization, and regulatory awareness to keep waste movements compliant and properly documented.

Position Overview

The Waste Tracking Coordinator is responsible for tracking inbound and outbound waste shipments, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring all waste movements meet federal, state, and internal compliance standards. This role works closely with operations, logistics, drivers, and compliance teams in a fast‑paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Waste shipment tracking — Monitor inbound and outbound waste from receipt through final disposition
  • Documentation management — Prepare, review, and maintain manifests, profiles, bills of lading, and tracking logs
  • Regulatory compliance — Ensure all waste movements comply with EPA, DOT, and state regulations
  • Coordination with operations — Work with operations staff, drivers, and third‑party transporters to resolve discrepancies
  • Data entry and system accuracy — Enter and maintain accurate information in internal tracking systems and databases
  • Audit and inspection support — Organize and provide required records during audits and inspections
  • Internal communication — Communicate shipment status and documentation needs to internal teams and customers
  • Administrative support — Assist with filing, record retention, and general administrative tasks related to waste tracking
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma
  • 1–3 years of experience in inventory, logistics, administrative operations, or similar work
  • Strong computer skills, including Gmail, Microsoft Teams, and data entry systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks accurately
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a compliance‑driven environment
Work Environment and Schedule
  • Industrial facility performing solvent recycling and fuels blending
  • Stable industry with consistent demand for waste processing
  • Day shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Facility operates 24/7; this role supports daytime operations

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
