Revised: March 202 6 ROCKY MOUNTAIN CONSERVANCY POSITION DESCRIPTION JOB OVERVIEW Position Title: Warehouse Worker Reports To: Warehouse Manager Department: Retail Position Type: Seasonal. Hourly, Non -Exempt (Approx. April or October 2026) Compensation: $21.00/hr. - $22.50/hr. Benefits: • 401(k)available to all employees, after meeting eligibility requirements; after 1 -year of service or a total of 1000 hours worked over multiple seasons • Part-time and/or Seasonal employees will accrue paid time off: Sick Hours: Sick hours are accrued at the rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours in a year. Unused sick hours are carried year -over -year with a cap of 48 hours. Employees will not accrue additional sick time until the balance falls below the 48 -hour threshold Vacation Hours: Vacation hours are accrued at the rate of 2 hours for every 30 hours worked, up to 100 hours in a year. Unused vacation hours are carried year -over -year with a cap of 100 hours. Employees will not accrue additional vacation time until the balance falls below the 100 -hour threshold JOB DESCRIPTION This position performs several duties aimed at ensuring that the operations of the warehouse are run safely and smoothly daily. This includes making sure items are received, priced, stored , and delivered effectively. Position is responsible for delivering merchandise to and stocking all Rocky Mountain Conservancy Retail Store Visitor Centers located in Rocky Mountain National Park outlet stores, and the kiosks that the RMC m aintains. Essential Duties/Responsibilities 1. Receives merchandise and unloads delivery trucks, including large boxes and pallets. Sorts out items from a variety of delivered packages and determines merchandise dismantling tasks. 2. Ensure that the correct quantity has been received by comp aring information with the purchase order. Identify any damaged or missing merchandise and report to the supervisor immediately. 3. Labels and prices for each item as required. Make sure that all items are labeled and priced properly. 4. Moves received merchandise to appropriate storage areas using dollies. Restock shelves in the Warehouse as needed. Ensure correct stocking techniques are followed. Take pallets and cardboard to the proper recycling receptacles . 5. Pulls items off shelves to be sent to the Retail Sales Visitor Centers stores and outlets. Pack them into totes. Make sure that packaged items are properly and securely placed in the delivery vehicle . 6. Delivers merchandise and stocks shelves in the stores. Revised: March 202 6 7. Participates in periodic inventories and the end-of-year inventory of all Warehouse locations. 8. May be required to assist in setting up stores and closing stores. This includes but is not limited to moving fixtures, displays , and the rearrangement of merchandise. This includes all Rocky Mountain National Park visitor centers, outlet stores, and kiosks that the RMC maintains. Other Duties/Responsibilities 1. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the Warehouse. 2. Complies with the Warehouse’s safety and security procedures. Knowledge, Skill , and Ability This position requires the ability to provide organization to the Warehouse. 1. Organizational skills and the ability to work in a multi -task environmen t with competing priorities. 2. Proven ability to work well with others and maintain professional communication is required. 3. Knowledge of inventory control and quality control procedures is desirable. Experience 1. Experience in the Warehouse field is preferable but not required . Material and Equipment Directly Used The position requires the use of motor vehicles, dollies, stepstools , ladders, and other typical warehouse and office equipment. Working Environment/Physical Activities Weekends , holidays, and evening hours are required. The ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time is required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
