Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

This role supports a high-tech, clean, and organized warehouse operation by accurately picking, packing, receiving, and quality-checking computer and electronics components. You will work on either 1st shift (7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.) or 2nd shift (3:30 p.m.–12:00 a.m.), with potential required Saturday work, and will be cross-trained across multiple functions to keep materials and orders flowing efficiently to production and directly to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Verify materials received against purchase requisitions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Accurately pick, break down, and quality-check orders for production in a timely manner.
  • Pick and prepare orders that ship directly to customers, ensuring correct items, quantities, and labeling.
  • Check in returned materials, including RMAs and RTVs, and update records accurately.
  • Report damages and discrepancies promptly for accounting, reimbursement, and record-keeping purposes.
  • Ensure products are received from vendors in a timely and accurate manner, resolving issues as needed.
  • Stock bins and shelves with parts from receiving carts, the receiving area, and return-to-stock locations.
  • Package systems and parts for shipment, following quality control standards and labeling requirements.
  • Prepare skids for freight shipments, including wrapping, strapping, and securing materials for transport.
  • Operate a stand-up reach truck and other class 5 forklifts in accordance with OSHA safety requirements, as needed.
  • Use RF scanners and computer systems to locate, pick, track, and update inventory and orders.
  • Print and apply labels accurately using Chromebooks and related systems.
  • Complete semi-annual physical inventories and weekly cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Contribute ideas and participate in monthly team meetings to improve processes and performance.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with facility standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet production and shipping deadlines.
  • Work scheduled shifts reliably, including potential required Saturdays and the last Saturday of the month as needed.

Essential Skills

  • 1 to 3 years of warehouse experience in a similar role.
  • 1 to 3 years of RF scanner experience for picking, receiving, or inventory tasks.
  • 1 to 3 years of order picking experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including the ability to use a computer and navigate a web browser from day one.
  • Ability to use RF scanners effectively on the first day of work.
  • Comfort reading very small printed labels with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly as part of daily duties.
  • Ability to read and write in English to follow work instructions, labels, and system prompts.
  • Willingness and availability to work Saturdays when required.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling parts, labels, and documentation.
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse processes such as receiving, shipping, inventory, and quality control.
  • Comfort working with technology in a high-tech warehouse environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience working in a warehouse that handles computers, servers, or electronics is a plus.
  • Interest or passion for computers and technology, especially in a high-tech production environment.
  • Experience operating a stand-up reach truck or other class 5 forklifts in accordance with OSHA standards.
  • Familiarity with inventory control, cycle counting, and semi-annual physical inventory processes.
  • Experience preparing freight shipments, including wrapping and strapping skids.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Comfort using Chromebooks or similar devices for order management, labeling, and data entry.

Work Environment

The facility focuses on building various types of computers and servers for a wide range of clients in a temperature-controlled, extremely clean, and highly organized environment. The warehouse is modern and technology-driven, using RF scanners, computers, Chromebooks, and labeling systems as part of daily operations, with little to no heavy equipment use for most tasks. Employees can wear whatever attire they feel comfortable in and are allowed to wear headphones during their shift, creating a relaxed yet professional atmosphere. The site includes a large cafeteria stocked with free healthy snacks and drinks, a foosball table and other activities for breaks, and a large TV available during break times. Shifts are structured as 1st shift (7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.) and 2nd shift (3:30 p.m.–12:00 a.m.), with potential required Saturday work, including the last Saturday of the month when needed. Overall, the work environment is clean, organized, technology-focused, and designed to support both productivity and employee comfort.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
