As an Operations Supervisor at our Wegmans Warehouse, you will be responsible for leading incredible customer service and managing daily warehouse operations. You will directly supervise multiple employees in various roles who are responsible for receiving vendor products and selecting/picking store orders safely and efficiently to service our stores. Work Environment: The physical demands of this work are classified as medium. Work includes walking, standing for long periods, some sitting, occasional lifting, some heavy lifting, bending, climbing, and reaching in a variety of warehouse settings in a fast-paced environment. May use power industrial trucks and/or be asked to select product and load trucks (see RSC Selecting, Loading, Inventory). The average weight range of items lifted is 5 – 20 pounds with maximum weight lifted of 50 pounds rarely. Upper extremity repetition is moderate and trunk movement involves moderate twisting, bending, and pivoting. The work environment is indoors and may involve exposure to cold (33° – 55°) and/or freezing (-20° – 20°) temperatures. Protective clothing is provided. Basic tools and equipment used include handheld telephone and computer.; Bachelor's - Logistics Management; Experience working in Logistics or related field; Experience with the Warehouse Management System; Store Operations Leadership experience at high volume store or other Distribution Experience; Experience at the Team Leader or Specialist level
