SUMMARY

Responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping activities. This role ensures materials are handled safely, efficiently, and accurately to support manufacturing, customer deliveries, and business operations. The position leads warehouse staff, maintains inventory accuracy, enforces safety and quality standards, and drives continuous improvement.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee daily receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities
  • Maintains warehouse areas in a clean, orderly, and well‑organized condition at all times.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of inbound and outbound materials
  • Maintain proper material flow, storage methods, and warehouse layout optimization
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure system accuracy through cycle counts and audits
  • Coordinate with Purchasing, assembly, and Logistics to meet operational needs
  • Resolve inventory discrepancies, damages, and shipping issues
  • Reviews department work procedures and implements process and equipment changes to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
  • Mentors and assigns tasks and training to develop workers and enhance individual skills and abilities.
  • Interacts daily with other departments to resolve day-to-day issues and to ensure all goods are processed in a timely manner
  • Supports Finance (per Finance scheduling) with all information necessary to ensure that the inventory is accurately reflected in the monthly inventory accounting
  • Works with import/export teams to ensure KUKA equipment is cleared through customs
  • Develops, writes, and implements SOP procedures and work instructions as needed.
  • Lead role in performing physical inventory and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Maintains storage areas and assists verifying Warehouse counts are accurate. Day to day inventory control – bin location updates, stocking quantities, warehouse transfers
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Operations, Finance, Quality, and Logistics
  • Participates in Quality meetings regarding process flow and efficiency issues in the Sales and Order processing related areas.
  • Understands and follows safety regulations and identifies safety concerns.
  • Adheres to the Quality Systems and participates in continual improvement.



SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages and leads a team of warehouse employees responsible for day‑to‑day operations, including incoming freight, outbound shipments, shipping and receiving, inventory control, and overall material flow within the warehouse.



QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to supervise warehouse operations and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments. Experience working with trucking companies, dispatch operations, and parcel carriers (including UPS, FedEx, and DHL) is required.
  • Familiarity with shipment scheduling, tracking, and resolving delivery issues, along with basic proficiency in ERP systems and shipping tools.



EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience, including hands‑on supervisory or lead responsibilities, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and business applications is required, including experience with ERP systems (SAP experience preferred) and SharePoint to support inventory management, warehouse operations, reporting, and documentation.
