POSITION OVERVIEW

The Warehouse Supervisor in the Non-Durable Goods Manufacturing industry plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of warehouse activities. This position is responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and optimizing warehouse workflows to meet production and shipping deadlines. The supervisor leads a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and performance management to foster a productive and compliant work environment. They collaborate closely with production, logistics, and quality control departments to align warehouse operations with overall manufacturing goals. Ultimately, the Warehouse Supervisor ensures that all warehouse processes support the timely delivery of products while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.


Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Exceptional problem-solving capacity, with demonstrated ability for considerable analysis and sound judgment to find solutions in a complex environment with shifting and competing priorities.
  • Astute in Inventory Warehouse Management. (WMS)
  • Knowledgeable in SAP.
  • Extensive experience in Logistics Coordination.
  • Expert in Safety Protocols.
  • Diplomatic skills to resolve employee conflicts, obstacles and issues.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Driven work ethic.


Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for Monitoring the Daily Agenda set for Shipping and Receiving requirements.

2. Manages, controls and replenishes suitable inventory level.

3. Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.

4. Fulfills the standards, guidelines, and procedures established by quality control, environment, and any other processes.

5. Recommends modifications or innovative ideas in order to improve warehouse handling procedures.

6. Trains new personnel and temporary employees according to Standard Operation Procedures.

7. Participates in production planning to supply information and strategies to continue operative processes.

8. Ensures compliance and proper handling of nonconforming products and preventive actions to maintain quality control.

9. Oversees ordering supplies.

10. Confer and coordinate activities with other departments.


Requirements:

• High School Diploma Required. Associate Degree Preferred.

• Subject to varying seasonal temperature changes within the plant and exposure to

environmental dust.

• Must wear protective head, hands, face, ears and or other body gear as required.

• Five (5) years' experience in same or similar position required.


Certifications:

• Forklift Certification (Required)

• Supply Chain Management (Desired)

• GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
