Our client, an industry leader in distribution and fulfillment, is seeking a Warehouse Order picker / Packer to join their team. As a Warehouse Order picker / Packer, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting the distribution operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, teamwork skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Order picker / Packer

Location: Kansas City, MO

Pay Range: $17.50/hr

Shift: 5:30am - 6pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday AND every other Wednesday 5:30am - 4pm

What's the Job?

  • Pull and pack orders accurately using robotic order‑picking technology
  • Verify product details, quantities, and lot numbers to ensure order accuracy
  • Prepare outbound shipments with proper packaging materials
  • Use handheld scanners and warehouse software to generate shipping labels and documentation
  • Monitor robotic systems for errors or jams and escalate issues when necessary

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment environment preferred
  • Comfort working with automated or robotic warehouse systems (training provided)
  • Ability to use handheld scanners, computers, and basic warehouse software
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
