Job Title: Warehouse Operator

Job Description

As a Warehouse (Environmental) Operator, you will be responsible for processing wastewater and assisting the Environmental Lead and Production Engineering personnel in troubleshooting problems. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and monitoring equipment, completing corresponding paperwork, and ensuring the effective operation of machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Process wastewater on a daily basis.
  • Assist Environmental Lead and Production Engineering personnel in troubleshooting issues.
  • Monitor equipment and complete corresponding paperwork daily.
  • Repair machinery as necessary.
  • Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
  • Collect samples as needed.
  • Maintain storage tanks with basic upkeep.
  • Respond to spills effectively.
  • Transfer hazardous chemicals safely.
  • Clean hazardous chemical containers.
  • Conduct minor repairs on hazardous chemical piping.
  • Record information in the treatment by generator log.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Essential Skills

  • Willing to drive a forklift is required.
  • Mechanical aptitude is helpful.
  • Good math skills and mechanical ability are necessary.
  • Ability to read and write in English is essential.
  • Attention to detail is required.
  • Some computer experience is helpful.
  • Requires in-house Hazardous Communication training, to be refreshed annually.
  • Respirator training is required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in production, general labor, machine operation, and assembly.

Work Environment

The role requires working in a warehouse setting, operating machinery and equipment, including forklifts. You'll be expected to adhere to safety standards and wear appropriate protective gear, including respirators. The work environment is fast-paced and requires strong attention to detail and safety protocols.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moses Lake, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
