What you will be doing
- Managing and supervising warehouse staff
- Coordinating receipt, storage, and shipment of replenishment goods
- Maintaining inventory accuracy and control
- Ensuring safety and security protocols are followed
- Conducting audits and inspections to maintain quality standards
- Managing and maintaining equipment and facilities
- Analyzing and reporting on operational performance metrics
- Implementing process improvements to increase efficiency
- Communicating with other departments, such as logistics and sales
- Handling customer service and issue resolution
- Managing and tracking inventory levels and locations
- Coordinating with transportation and logistics providers
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Conducting performance evaluations and training for warehouse staff
- Maintaining accurate records and reports.
The position will be based in Methuen, MA.
Main responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods
- Supervise and train warehouse staff to ensure productivity and efficiency
- Implement and enforce safety procedures and standards
- Conduct regular inventory management and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Manage and maintain warehouse equipment and facilities
- Analyze and optimize warehouse operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
- Conflict resolution, critical thinking, accountability, leadership
- Supply chain management, analytical skills, process improvement, attention to detail.
- Warehouse management systems: Manhattan (WMS), safety regulations (OSHA, etc.), regulations and compliance.
- Communication, multitasking, coaching and development.
We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience:
- 3 plus years of experience in warehouse management
- Bilingual (preferred, not required)
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in inventory management software and systems
- Knowledge of safety regulations and standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
