Overview:Xerox corporation, is seeking a Warehouse Associate who will be responsible for a wide variety of warehouse activities relating to the receipt, inspection, storage, picking, distribution set up of copiers, printers, supplies and various goods. also doing some deliveries to cover projects or other driver vacations This is a full-time opportunity with daytime hours from Monday to Friday. What You’ll Do:- Assist in receiving and shipping of Xerox products, equipment and various goods
- unbox equipment for setup
- Load and unload vehicles
- Prepare equipment for shipment and delivery
- Check all orders for accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
- Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment
- May assist drivers with deliveries and interact with customers as needed
- Assist with inventory as needed
- Assist with setup of copiers and print devices for installation in shop.
- be able to work in a warehouse environment with many other people.
What You Need to Succeed:- 1-2 years of warehouse experience is preferred
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience using smartphone, tablet and/or laptop
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications and the Internet
- Experience operating a forklift is preferred
Physical Requirements:- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours and regularly lift 50-70 pounds
- Able to safely maneuver oversized and overweight equipment
- Must be able to work in a warehouse environment that may not be climate-controlled
- will need to be trained to use stair climber
