Job Title: Warehouse Quality Associate (Packaging & QA)

Job Description

The Warehouse Quality Associate ensures customer orders are accurate, quality-checked, properly packaged, and ready for shipment. This role focuses on inspecting products, verifying order accuracy, packaging shipments, and supporting shipping operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment handling electronic equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Verify order accuracy by reviewing packing slips, quantities, and part numbers
  • Visually inspect products and packages for defects, damage, or missing items
  • Use RF scanners to scan, track, and sort packages
  • Pack and label boxes using proper materials and shipping methods
  • Identify and remove incorrect or incomplete orders from production
  • Report discrepancies and exceptions using an online system
  • Support shipping operations with final packaging and staging as needed
  • Maintain packaging supplies and notify leadership when materials are low
  • Work with fulfillment and shipping teams to meet daily shipment goals

Essential Skills

  • 1+ year of experience in warehouse quality, inspection, or shipping
  • Experience with quality checks, packaging, or order verification
  • Comfortable using RF scanners and warehouse systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to read labels, packing slips, and order documentation
  • Reliable and able to work in a deadline-driven environment

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience working with electronics products, components, or equipment in a repair, refurbishment, or inspection environment.
  • Experience in quality assurance or packaging roles within a warehouse or distribution center.
  • Ability to memorize and quickly recall product numbers, locations, and sorting criteria.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal fulfillment teams and external clients through online systems.
  • Capability to work efficiently in a production-oriented environment with time-sensitive shipping deadlines.

Work Environment

  • Indoor warehouse / light industrial facility handling electronic equipment
  • Repair, inspection, and shipping operations in a small, team-based setting
  • Use of RF scanners, conveyors, packing stations, and computer systems
  • Morning shift supporting daytime operations
  • Standing throughout the shift while scanning, packing, lifting, and moving materials
  • Practical, comfortable work attire suitable for warehouse and electronics handling
Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
