Warehouse Assistant

Position: Materials Processor / Supply Chain

Location: Cortlandt Manor, NY

Duration: 14 Weeks Contract

Schedule: Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay: $20 - $26/hr

Job Overview

Under the supervision of the department lead, the Materials Processor is responsible for ordering, receiving, storing, and distributing supplies and equipment across hospital departments. This role supports inventory management and ensures timely delivery of materials to patient care areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and organized receiving and storage areas
• Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments
• Compare purchase orders with delivered items for accuracy
• Stock and replenish supplies in hospital departments
• Prepare and deliver supply carts to nursing stations
• Monitor inventory levels and usage trends
• Handle and transport medical supplies, including medications
• Process returns, exchanges, and repairs
• Deliver supplies and obtain signatures for verification
• Safely manage hazardous materials according to policy
• Use hospital computer systems (Lawson experience preferred)
• Support purchasing department as needed
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
