Job Title: Visual Inspector (Weekend 1st Shift)

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Visual Inspector to join our team on the weekend first shift. The role requires proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as SAP. Candidates must be comfortable moving between workstations and executing mandatory data entry tasks. Responsibilities include taking product photographs and uploading them to the company system, understanding photo evidence, recognizing discrepancies, and editing check sheets and SOPs. The role also involves monitoring, responding to, and escalating quality issues, entering material and finished product holds into QA Notify emails, and assisting with audits as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of products, components, or materials using the human eye and specialized tools to detect defects or inconsistencies.
• Utilize computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and SAP for data entry and documentation.
• Take and upload product photographs to the company system, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Recognize discrepancies in photo evidence and update check sheets and SOPs accordingly.
• Monitor, respond to, and escalate quality issues.
• Enter material and finished product holds into QA Notify emails.
• Assist with audits when necessary.
• Work collaboratively with the production team, including some Saturdays.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Basic knowledge of Outlook.
• Experience in quality assurance and visual inspection.
• Ability to recognize discrepancies in photo evidence.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in precision machine or sheet metal manufacturing environments.
• Visual inspection experience in a manufacturing setting.

Work Environment

Work in an extremely temperature-controlled manufacturing facility with potential to expand into a 3 million square foot campus. Composite shoes are required. The facility provides a safe and supportive environment conducive to professional growth.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Memphis,TN.
