The Department of Theology at Benedictine College invites outstanding teacher-scholars to apply for a one-year appointment as Visiting Instructor of Theology for the 2026-2027 academic year. The successful candidate should be a dynamic teacher who is competent as a generalist in Catholic theology. Candidates with backgrounds in moral theology are especially encouraged to apply. The candidate should be willing to seek enthusiastically the mandatum from the Archbishop and make an Oath of Fidelity in accordance with Ex Corde Ecclesiae. Applicants should possess either an ABD by the start date or a Master’s degree with considerable teaching experience.
