The Video Editor / Motion Artist blends strong video editing capabilities with motion graphics and animation expertise to bring stories to life across digital, social, and marketing channels. The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller with a strong sense of pacing, design, and rhythm—and who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

How you will make a difference @ FARO:

• Edit high-quality video content including YouTube shorts, social media content, product videos, event recaps, testimonials, and internal communications.
• Craft compelling narratives using interviews, B-roll, graphics, sound design, and music.
• Maintain brand consistency across all content while elevating creative quality.
• Prepare rough cuts, fine cuts, and final deliveries with clear organizational structure.
• Concept, design, and animate 2D/3D motion graphics, lower thirds, text animations, and transitions.
• Partner with designers to bring static assets to life.
• Ensure animations reinforce brand voice and message clarity.
• Work closely with Video Production Manager, content producers, designers, and project managers to deliver on time and within scope.
• Interpret briefs, storyboards, and scripts to produce strong visual outcomes.
• Manage and maintain organized project files, media, and exports.

This position requires:

• 3–5 years of professional experience in video editing and motion design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Animation, Digital Media, or related field preferred—or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience creating content for marketing, advertising, or brand storytelling.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and supporting tools (Media Encoder, Audition).
• Experience with online editing tools such as Canva.
• Strong understanding of typography, composition, pacing, and visual language.
• Working knowledge of color correction, color grading, and audio mixing.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines.
