Vice President - Product Manager - Agility Coach Mobilization

JPMC Candidate Experience page
Bengaluru, IN

You enjoy shaping the future of product innovation as a core leader, driving value for customers, guiding successful launches, and exceeding expectations. Join our dynamic team and make a meaningful impact by delivering high-quality products that resonate with clients.
As a Product Manager in Product Operations team, you will own the Product Agility Lead/Agile Lead (PAL/AL) Mobilization program endtoend across India and the US. You will build and run a digitalfirst capability engine that standardizes ways of working, drives adoption, and delivers measurable improvements in flow and quality metrics (e.g., cycle time, change failure rate, backlog hygiene, say/do performance). You will launch a modular learning pathway, orchestrate flippedclassroom labs and cohortbased field projects, embed controls into everyday practices, and implement a structured mechanism (e.g., performancebased gating). You will partner closely with portfolio sponsors, the Change/Enablement team, and Site Change Enablers to execute locally, and you will govern progress through organizationstandard dashboards and agile tooling.
Job responsibilities
  • Own the PAL/AL Mobilization program end‑to‑end across India and the US: set strategy and scope, define outcomes and KPIs, secure stakeholder buy‑in, plan and run pilots, and scale delivery across portfolios and sites.
  • Design and launch a digital‑first, modular training pathway for agile product delivery (controls, flow and quality metrics such as cycle time and change failure rate, AI/LLM‑enabled development, quarterly planning, backlog health) with clear sequencing and prerequisites, and a flipped‑classroom model that requires mastery checks before instructor‑led labs.
  • Build and run the Digital Hub with the Change/Enablement team, curating playbooks, templates, training content, and trackers; standardize globally and localize for India as needed; maintain a regular update cadence and monitor usage/adoption analytics.
  • Plan and deliver quarterly learning cohorts at each site, including instructor‑led practice labs (post self‑paced completion), office hours, and peer learning circles; coordinate local logistics and feedback capture with Site Change Enablers.
  • Implement performance‑based gating for delegation of decision rights: link authority to sustained KPI thresholds (e.g., cycle time distribution, first‑time release quality, backlog hygiene) with time‑bound renewal; embed readiness gates (DoR/DoD, quality checks) and data hygiene rules in agile tooling (e.g., Jira) to standardize practices and enable cross‑portfolio mobility.
  • Run portfolio leadership and agile lead check‑ins; publish meeting summaries and action trackers; maintain adoption dashboards (training completion, tool usage, outcome metrics); host peer communities of practice for knowledge sharing and coaching, with clear feedback‑to‑action updates.
  • Govern delivery performance using organization‑standard dashboards and agile tooling; track flow and quality metrics (e.g., cycle time distribution, change failure rate, backlog hygiene, say/do ratio, throughput, WIP, defects) and ensure metrics are reviewed in objectives and key results (OKR)/quarterly check‑ins; initiate corrective actions where targets are missed.
  • Drive corrective actions, quarterly retrospectives, and variance reduction across squads and portfolios; document playbooks and improvement actions; close gaps against standards.
  • Champion approved AI tools (e.g., Product GPT and the internal LLM suite) for backlog/story and acceptance‑criteria acceleration and analysis; define guardrails; measure time saved and quality uplift; report AI adoption and ROI.
  • Manage risks, escalations, and capacity constraints across cohorts and portfolios; maintain risk and dependency logs and mitigation plans.
  • Integrate controls into the way of working: embed quality gates, change requests, and release discipline within ceremonies and Jira workflows; ensure audit readiness and end‑to‑end traceability.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 10+ years leading product/agile/operating model transformation, with 5+ years running multi-team enablement programs at scale.
  • Proven delivery of digital-first capability programs (self-paced training, flipped labs, field projects) with measurable improvement in flow and quality metrics (e.g., cycle time, change failure rate, backlog hygiene, say/do ratio).
  • Deep fluency with agile delivery tooling and dashboards (e.g., Jira) and governance metrics; strong data storytelling and decision-making from dashboards.
  • Practical change leadership using industry frameworks (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter), including resistance management; experience aligning product and technology in large, matrixed organizations.
  • AI literacy: champion-level use of approved LLM tools to accelerate backlog/story and acceptance criteria, with clear guardrails and ROI tracking (time saved, quality uplift).
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills; executive presence; negotiation and conflict management; ability to influence without authority.
  • Strong understanding of product and software development lifecycles (PDLC/SDLC); hands-on facilitation of discovery, quarterly/PI planning, sprint execution, dependency alignment, and release discipline; integrates risk and control checkpoints into ways of working.
  • Metrics orientation: able to interpret and act on cycle time, change failure rate, backlog hygiene, say/do ratio, throughput, WIP, and defects; reduce variance across teams; publish meeting summaries and action logs; uphold readiness gates and hygiene standards.
  • Willingness to travel across India sites; on-site presence as needed for bootcamps, labs, peer forums, and stakeholder reviews.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience with portfolio-level planning and multi-site rollout of enablement programs.
  • Familiarity with enterprise agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe) and portfolio tooling (e.g., Jira Align or equivalents).
  • Background in designing role-based decision-rights models (e.g., performance-gated readiness, certification, or micro-credentials).
  • Experience implementing workflow automation and data quality rules in agile tooling (e.g., preventing orphaned/aged items, enforcing readiness gates).
