Vice President of Revenue Management

The Vice President of Revenue Management is a senior leader responsible for driving revenue growth, profitability, and competitive positioning through pricing strategy, demand forecasting, and data-driven decision-making. This role owns day-to-day pricing and inventory decisions and leads the development and execution of revenue strategies across all products, channels, and customer segments.


Key Responsibilities


Revenue Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and execute overall revenue management strategy, including pricing, inventory control, and demand optimization
  • Provide data-driven insights on market trends, customer behavior, and competitive positioning
  • Partner with executive leadership on growth initiatives and long-term strategy


Pricing & Optimization

  • Develop and manage dynamic pricing strategies based on demand, seasonality, and performance trends
  • Oversee pricing structures across all offerings, distribution channels, and customer segments
  • Lead promotions, segmentation strategies, and targeted campaigns to increase revenue and conversion


Forecasting & Financial Planning

  • Own annual budgeting and ongoing revenue forecasting, including core and ancillary revenue streams
  • Set revenue targets by market, product, and channel
  • Improve forecast accuracy through analytics and cross-functional alignment


Product & Commercial Strategy

  • Lead pricing and lifecycle management of products and offerings across digital platforms
  • Increase customer lifetime value through loyalty and upsell initiatives
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and IT to align revenue strategies
  • Ensure effective execution of pricing and promotional strategies


Required Skills & Competencies

  • Expertise in pricing, revenue optimization, and forecasting
  • Solid financial acumen and budgeting experience
  • Deep understanding of market trends, segmentation, and competitive analysis


Technical Skills

  • CRM systems & Reservation systems
  • Data analytics and reporting tools / Financial modeling and forecasting tools


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Hospitality, or related field (required)
  • MBA or advanced degree (preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in revenue management, pricing, or commercial strategy
  • Leadership experience
