This role is based onsite in Vandalia, Illinois.

How You Will Make An Impact:
- Lead a fulfillment managed services business unit with accountability for operational execution, service performance, and financial results
- Oversee a hybrid operation involving bulk material receiving, warehouse storage, light manufacturing/down-packing, and small-parcel fulfillment
- Drive EBITDA performance through operational efficiency, process discipline, labor productivity, and cost control
- Build and reinforce a strong safety and quality culture in a regulated operational environment
- Lead expansion-related initiatives, workflow improvements, and process maturity efforts over the next 12 to 18 months
- Partner with centralized sales teams on pricing, new business support, and commercial decision-making
- Use ERP-enabled process management and data-driven leadership to improve visibility, consistency, and accountability
- Develop and mature a mid-level leadership team by establishing clear expectations, operational rigor, and strong communication rhythms
- Communicate effectively across frontline teams, peers, and executive leadership to translate strategy into action
Are you a proven operations executive ready to lead in warehousing, light manufacturing, and fulfillment?
- Proven experience leading warehouse operations in a complex, service-driven environment
- Experience operating within a manufacturing, production, or light industrial setting
- Prior VP-level or equivalent senior operations leadership experience with business unit accountability strongly preferred
- Demonstrated P&L ownership and comfort presenting operating results in recurring business reviews
- Experience leading through metrics, dashboards, KPIs, and performance indicators
- Commercial mindset with experience supporting pricing or growth initiatives in partnership with sales
- Strong safety, quality, and compliance orientation
- Experience with ERP-enabled process improvement, operational change, or systems-driven workflow maturity
- Ability to lead through acquisition, expansion, organizational change, or process redesign
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at executive, manager, and frontline levels
- Experience in chemical, industrial, packaging, specialty materials, contract packaging, or adjacent environments is highly valuable
