Vice President of Asset Management

Iskalo Development Corp. is seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Asset Management to lead the financial performance and long-term value creation of our diverse commercial real estate portfolio. This executive-level position oversees the entire property lifecycle, providing leadership to our Leasing, Property Management, and Marketing teams to optimize both short-term cash flow and long-term asset appreciation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Portfolio Leadership: Maximize the performance and economic value of a diverse portfolio, including office, medical, retail, and residential assets.
  • Executive Oversight: Provide leadership and accountability for the Property Management and Leasing Departments to ensure departmental goals and performance align with ownership's objectives.
  • Asset Life Cycle Management: Drive property performance, continuously monitoring market trends to propose repositioning strategies for assets.
  • Financial & Fiduciary Management: Lead the annual budgeting process, review property-level financial statements, and prioritize capital improvement projects based on ROI and asset preservation.
  • Corporate Governance: Serve as a key member of the Executive Committee, contributing actionable data and strategic insights to senior leadership.


Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum 4-year college degree required; MBA or Master’s in Real Estate/Finance preferred.
  • Experience: 15+ years of progressive leadership in commercial leasing, property management, and real estate administration.
  • Financial Acumen: Deep expertise in preparing and reviewing complex real estate operating budgets, pro formas, and capital expenditure plans.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills with the ability to engage effectively with sophisticated tenants, investors, and municipal stakeholders.
  • Mobility: Ability to travel frequently to property sites within the Western New York portfolio.
