SCI, the Leader in Real Estate Executive Search®, has been retained to recruit a Vice President of Asset Management on behalf of a leading global investment manager with $55 billion in AUM — widely regarded as the firm that set the standard for institutional seniors housing investment.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role sitting at the intersection of portfolio management, platform development, and acquisitions. The incoming VP will oversee a healthcare portfolio spanning independent living, assisted living, and memory care — while also helping build the systems and infrastructure to support a growing asset management team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing a seniors housing portfolio — driving occupancy, NOI, and capital allocation decisions in partnership with operating partners
- Leading KPI and dashboard development; building scalable processes for portfolio monitoring, risk management, and operator onboarding
- Supporting acquisitions — underwriting, due diligence, cash flow modeling, JV structuring, and debt analysis
- Presenting portfolio performance, industry trends, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
- Conducting site visits and competitive analyses to assess asset positioning and identify repositioning opportunities
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 7–10 years of experience, with 5+ years in institutional asset management from a REIT (RIDEA) or private equity platform
- Seniors housing, SNF, CCRC, or healthcare real estate background strongly preferred
- Advanced financial modeling skills — three-statement models, cash flow analysis, valuations
- Proficiency in Excel and Power BI
- Ability to relocate to Dallas, TX
