Vice President, Quantitative Analyst, RBC Capital Markets, LLC, New York, NY:
Design, develop, and implement architecture of deliverable quantitative software tools to support trading and risk management activities. Enhance and develop analytical tools for trading desks not directly supported by Front Office quants and non-Front Office groups. Conduct maintenance and improvement of model documentation and test suites for RAMPP models. Assist with pricing of new products and feasibility of modelling approaches. Provide Quant support for federal projects involving risk aggregation and analysis. Perform canonical risk generation, analyze margin disputes, and conduct quarterly VaR back-testing. Participate in special trading desk projects.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, and 2 years of experience providing quantitative support to structured rates trading desks.
Must also have 2 years of experience in each of the following:
Travel required up to 10%
The base salary for this job is $210,000.00 per year. This salary does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
