Summary
Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank stands as one of the world's premier financial institutions, ranking as the 9th largest global bank by balance sheet size and serving as the corporate and investment banking arm of Crédit Agricole Group. With operations spanning 46 countries and over 10,400 employees, Crédit Agricole CIB delivers comprehensive capital markets, investment banking, structured financing, and commercial banking solutions to large corporates and financial institutions worldwide.
We are seeking an experienced private-side foreign exchange salesperson with proven expertise covering Americas Corporate and Sponsor clients based in New York. This role requires a seasoned professional who can deliver comprehensive hedging solutions across the full spectrum of FX products, while strategically aligning with the bank's U.S. expansion objectives and existing institutional footprint. The ideal candidate brings established client relationships, deep product knowledge, and the ability to integrate FX solutions into broader financing structures that elevate Crédit Agricole CIB's strategic positioning with key accounts.
The successful candidate demonstrates mastery across vanilla and exotic foreign exchange products, including spot transactions, swaps, options, non-deliverable forwards (NDFs), historical rate rollovers (HRRs), and trade restructures. This expertise extends beyond execution to encompass sophisticated understanding of pricing mechanics, including risk-weighted asset (RWA) considerations, credit valuation adjustments (CVA), and funding valuation adjustments (FVA).
The role demands close collaboration with senior coverage bankers to develop integrated financing solutions that incorporate hedging requirements, positioning the bank as a comprehensive strategic partner rather than a transactional provider. By working across the Global Markets Division and partnering with complementary product teams, the FX salesperson drives cross-divisional revenue opportunities while deepening wallet share with key institutional relationships. Candidate must hold Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.
