Vice President, Data Center Construction
Location: On-site, Dallas, TX
An established and rapidly expanding leader in large-scale construction is seeking a senior executive to lead its data center construction operations. This role sits at the forefront of delivering complex, high-value projects that power the digital economy. With a strong pipeline of hyperscale and enterprise builds, this position offers the opportunity to shape strategy, drive execution excellence, and scale operations across a high-growth sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans for data center construction operations across multiple markets
- Drive expansion efforts within hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise environments
- Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and portfolio oversight
- Lead delivery of large-scale technical construction projects from planning through final turnover
- Ensure alignment across preconstruction, field execution, and commissioning phases
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Champion advanced construction practices such as prefabrication, modularization, and digital coordination tools
- Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing teams across project management and field operations
Qualifications
- 15 plus years of construction experience, with significant focus on data center or highly technical projects
- Demonstrated success leading large, complex construction programs valued at 100M or more
- Experience working within hyperscale, colocation, or similar high-availability environments
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems within mission critical facilities
- Proven ability to lead teams across multiple locations and deliver consistent results
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related discipline preferred
