Texas Litter Control ishiring full and part time Vet Technicians for Surgery and/or General Practice. Salary ranges from $17-$30 per hour(dependent on experience and license status). We are not corporate! TLC is a Texas Nonprofit Corporation and 501c3 public charity. We exist to help pet parents withaffordablepet care. If you want to help the community, this is the job for you!

General Practice Technician Description

Support GP Veterinarian providing vet exams, diagnostics, and prescriptions/refills. Provide excellent customer service to our clients and their pets.

• Greet customers as they enter the clinic.
• Answer phones as needed as back up to the call center staff.
• Book appointments.
• Print admission forms and answer questions about services and pricing.
• Fill prescriptions.
• Perform adoptions on cat/kittens in lobby.
• Clean cat cages in lobby.
• Keep lobby clean at all times.
• Keep storage closet organized.
• Draw blood, administer fluids, give injections of all types, look at specimens under microscope.
• Monitor equipment and report problems to the Executive Director as they are detected
• Laundry
• Mopping
• Maintain proper stock of supplies in all areas of the clinic
• Perform other duties as assigned
