Vegetation Manager

Our client, a well-known utility provider, is actively hiring a Vegetation Management Supervisor to join their team in Wheatfield, IN!

*This is a 5 month W2 contract with benefits offered!*

In this role, you will be responsible for directing and managing seasonal renewable vegetation management activities to maintain orderly and safe site conditions. You will also supervise a team of union craft with an emphasis on workforce safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of union craft performing vegetation management on a company fleet of various equipment types
• Conduct pre-job safety briefs for all assigned work
• Verify all work is done in compliance with environmental permits and procedures
• Coordinate with fleet and 3rd party suppliers to coordinate spare parts needs
• Inform employees of work performance standards and expectations

Skills:

• High school diploma
• 3+ years of experience in landscaping, maintenance, or related discipline
• Experience coordinating a union workforce
• Familiarity with renewable assets (PV/Solar)
