We are seeking an experienced Senior VDI Administrator to join a large enterprise technology environment. This role is ideal for professionals with deep expertise in Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Windows administration, and cloud-based infrastructure management.

Key Requirements:

✔ 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Systems Administration or Cloud Administration

✔ Advanced experience with VDI platforms such as:

• Citrix

• Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)

✔ Strong Windows Server Administration expertise, including:

• Active Directory

• DNS

• Group Policy Management

• Vulnerability Management

✔ Ability to work onsite in Herndon, VA three days per week

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft certifications such as AZ-900, AZ-104, MCSE, MCITP, or related credentials

• Experience with SIEM integrations, backup solutions, and infrastructure monitoring tools

• Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks

• Experience working within Agile delivery environments

• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and deployment pipelines

What You'll Be Doing:

• Administer, maintain, and optimize enterprise VDI and server infrastructure environments

• Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions

• Manage system upgrades, patching, monitoring, and vulnerability remediation

• Support performance monitoring, capacity planning, and incident management activities

• Develop technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures

• Collaborate with cloud, security, and infrastructure teams to resolve complex technical challenges

• Participate in infrastructure planning, architecture reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Serve as a technical subject matter expert for enterprise systems and virtualization technologies
