Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented candidate interested in developing skills in electrical detailing and coordination. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced construction environment.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks, and meeting project deadlines.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Follow direction from project managers and team leads to develop and update electrical layouts and drawings.
• Assist in creating and maintaining detailed electrical drawings based on contract documents, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Support coordination of electrical systems with other trades to identify and resolve conflicts.
• Create highly detailed shop, install and prefabrication drawings for field and prefab use.
• Assist with updating drawings to reflect field conditions and as-built information

Required Technical Skills

• 1–2+ years of experience using computer-aided drafting or 3D modeling tools for commercial electrical projects (preferred)
• Basic understanding of detailing sheets for electrical systems, including conduit, equipment, supports, and related components
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and electrical codes
• Strong computer proficiency with emphasis on file management, organization, and digital documentation
• Familiarity with construction-related software tools for document review, markups, and coordination such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and Evolve (preferred)
• Experience with modular construction and prefabrication processes (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills for both internal team collaboration and external client interactions
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills

Required Experience:

• 2+ years of commercial electrical field experience (preferred) or 2+ years of VDC / BIM experience
• Entry level candidates with relevant training, internships, or coursework in electrical drafting using AutoCAD, Revit, or other construction technology are encouraged to apply
