Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Van Truckload Driver Instructor at Schneider. The instructor will be responsible for conducting driver training sessions, focusing on road safety, vehicle operation, and compliance. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating driver skills, providing constructive feedback, teaching best practices for truck driving, and ensuring adherence to safety standards and company policies. The role is integral to preparing drivers for safe and efficient on-road performance.

Qualifications

• Skills in Driving Instruction and Driver Training to effectively coach and guide drivers.
• Strong knowledge of Road Safety practices and the ability to apply them during training.
• Expertise in Truck Driving with hands-on experience and familiarity with operating different vehicle types.
• Experience in delivering training sessions, assessing skill levels, and providing feedback.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with trainees.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance in all training activities.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with at least 12 months experience is required.
