Position Overview
Baylor Scott & White Texas Urogynecology Associates is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join a collaborative urogynecology team led by Michael E. Carley, MD.
This is a clinic-based, non-operative role supporting patients in Dallas and Waxahachie. The PA will practice with a high level of autonomy while collaborating closely with physicians and care teams.
Practice & Schedule
- Locations: Dallas (near Baylor University Medical Center) & Waxahachie
- Schedule: 4x10s
- Wed: Dallas
- Thurs & Fri: Waxahachie
- Sat: Dallas
- Hours: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM

- No first assist responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments, histories, and physical exams
- Diagnose and manage urogynecologic conditions
- Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and therapies
- Perform in-office procedures, including:
- Bladder instillations
- Pelvic floor therapy with electrical stimulation
- Pessary fittings
- Vaginal swabs
- Urine specimen processing
- Urethral catheterization
- Provide patient education and counseling
- Manage pre- and post-procedure care
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Active Texas PA license
- NCCPA certification
- BLS certification within 30 days
- Preferred: Experience in urogynecology, urology, or women’s health
- Ability to work independently in a clinic-based setting
