Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position in Panama City for an Upper Elementary Teacher. The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, Christ-centered instruction aligned with academic standards while supporting the academic, spiritual, and social development of students. Responsibilities include teaching upper elementary courses, assessing student progress, maintaining a positive classroom environment, collaborating with faculty on curriculum development, and participating in school activities and professional development. This role is best suited for a committed Christian educator who sees teaching as ministry and who understands that serving at CCA is about more than employment alone.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
  • Relevant teaching experience at the elementary level preferred
  • Strong knowledge of upper elementary instruction
  • Teaching certification or qualifications in a relevant discipline preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and classroom management skills
  • Ability to foster a positive and Christ-centered classroom environment
  • Experience integrating Christian values into instruction preferred
  • A clear personal commitment to Jesus Christ and willingness to support the Christian mission of the school
  • For candidates relocating internationally, willingness to serve through Resourcing Christian Education International (RCE) if selected
