**Seeking an unmasked Clinical Research Assistant for a clinical research site in Cary, NC**

MUST be able to travel to the Wake Forest location on an as needed basis.

Schedule: Onsite, full time, 40 hrs an hr

Pay: Varies on experience $25-38 / hr

Position Overview:

Seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Research Assistant to support our research team. This role involves assisting the Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) in patient care, recruitment, and study management for Phase 2 & 3 clinical trials (excluding gene therapy). The ideal candidate is organized, patient-focused, and enjoys hands-on involvement in clinical research activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
• Ophthalmic experience preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to deliver safe, appropriate care in accordance with study protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule subject visits within study windows per protocol
• Prepare visit-specific documentation and charts for the CRC
• Observe and assist the CRC in patient care, monitoring, and management
• Collect, record, and transcribe study data, including adverse events and concomitant medications
• Administer mandatory questionnaires and perform study assessments (ECG, intraocular pressure checks, visual acuity testing, trial frame refraction as required)
• Request medical records for Serious Adverse Event reporting
• Process and ship laboratory samples for analysis
• Obtain informed consent/re-consent from study subjects as needed
• Complete any required sponsor training and certifications
• Perform other duties as assigned
