The Ultrasound Technologist will perform diagnostic sonographic examinations to support the clinical needs of the VA Radiology Department.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform general, abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and smallparts ultrasound exams as assigned.Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain highquality diagnostic images.Position and prepare patients while ensuring comfort and safety.Review images for diagnostic adequacy and completeness.Maintain ultrasound room readiness, equipment functionality, and infection control compliance.Collaborate with Radiologists and clinical staff to support coordinated patient care.Document procedures in accordance with VA standards.Required QualificationsCompletion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.ARDMS certification in one or more specialties preferred (AB, OB/GYN, RVT, etc.).Minimum one year of ultrasound experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging setting.Strong knowledge of sonographic anatomy and imaging protocols.Ability to work independently in a fastpaced clinical environment. recblid xks537iixj8rcnpz40jwy6athi47mt
